INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING Individual counseling includes a 45-50 minute session, which focuses on the individual needs of the client. Children eight years to eighteen years can be seen individually, with a parent available nearby for check in and emergencies. Children under eight years of age, the parent is considered the client, and will focus on positive parenting strategies and secure attachment skills. Each client, children and adult, will explore goals and expectations for their therapeutic experience, and can be seen weekly or biweekly.

FAMILY COUNSELING Family counseling includes a 45-50 minute session which can consists of, but not limited to, parent and child interventions, trauma work with children under age six, and co-parenting strategies for healthy family relationships. Parent and child trauma work includes meeting with a parent only, for first 6-8 sessions, and then sessions would include both parent and child, in a safe space where the child can process trauma through play with their parent. Sessions are recommended to be weekly for first three months, but could be seen biweekly if needed.

COUPLES COUNSELINGCouples counseling includes a 45-50 minute session, which focuses on your relationship. Couples can expect a safe and neutral space where each partner can learn communication and listening skills, perspective taking, and focus on certain areas where there may be conflict. Couples will be involved in collaborating with the therapist their goals for their relationship and each partner will be expected to discuss most to all aspects of their relationship. Partners are asked to be as open with feelings and needs as possible, in order to heal, strengthen, and learn effective ways to resolve conflicts with each other. Couples will be expected to reinforce strategies in between sessions and have reading home work and activities. Sessions can be scheduled weekly or biweekly.
